How Often Do You Run Courses?

Courses and one to one mentorships will be run semi regularly throughout the year. However, due to my shooting schedule, I won’t be setting future dates until I am certain that I have the time needed to run them. Likewise with the 1-2-1 mentorships, I will only open up new places as and when they become available.

How Long Does Backorder Take?

Back orders are usually processed 48 hours later. If there is any further delay on this I will be in touch to discuss.

Can I spill things on the backgrounds?

Yes and no. The backgrounds can take a spillage but not for longer periods of time. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and leave to dry at room temperature.

Do the backgrounds come rolled or flat?

They arrived rolled. Tin House Backgrounds do not need to be unrolled and flattened before being used. Simply unroll, weigh the corners down and start using them.

Who do you use for delivery?

We use Royal Mail for delivering the backgrounds in the UK. For non UK orders we use a variety of couriers.

Where is my background?

If you order before 11am then your background will be dispatched on the same day. Allow 7 working days for it to arrive. If you choose to upgrade from free delivery then allow 1 – 2 days. If you have not received your background within these time frames please get in touch.

I need the background now, can I send a courier?

Maybe! Get in touch by emailing me on info@tinhouse-studio.com and I will see what I can do.

I want to send a background as a gift, will it have the price included?

No it isn’t. The invoice is sent to the person who buys the background.

How do I store my background?

Tin House Backgrounds can be stored flat or rolled in the packaging tube they arrived in. Please ensure the backgrounds are clean and dry before you roll and store them though. Please be careful not to store the backgrounds in damp areas or in extremely hot environments.

Do you have any discount codes?

I decided early on to provide really good quality backgrounds for a good price, providing a living wage for everyone who works within the business. That means I don’t give out discount codes or sell backgrounds off in sales.

I live in an area not covered by your shipping, how can I get hold of a background?
